The Morgan State University Choir (MSUC) has performed around the world to critical acclaim.  Named “Best College Choir” in 2004 by Reader’s Digest magazine, the Choir has performed with several major symphony orchestras, including The Philadelphia Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, New York Philharmonic and the National Symphony Orchestra.  Eric Conway is the Director of the Morgan State University Choir and Chairperson of the Fine Arts Department.  During his tenure, Dr. Conway has led the choir to many acclaimed performances, including a special performance at the service honoring Rosa Parks, the first woman to lie in honor at our nation’s Capital Rotunda.  In 2015, the choir performed for President Barack Obama during his Live at the White House Series.  During the past three years, the choir has traveled to the Austria, Spain, England and Scotland.  MSUC has shared its musical gifts on many grand stages all over the world–with numerous dignitaries and celebrated performers–making them cultural ambassadors for Morgan State University, the City of Baltimore, the state of Maryland and the United States.  For further information, see

Eric Conway is the director of the Morgan State University Choir and the chairperson of Morgan’s Fine and Performing Arts Department.  As director of the famed Morgan choir, he has travelled virtually all over the world, directing his choir in Czech Republic, Ghana, South Africa, Cuba, and Australia, to name a few destinations. Conway is a doctoral graduate of The Peabody Conservatory of Music of the Johns Hopkins University, where he majored in piano and conducting and received the prestigious Liberace scholarship.   As a pianist, he has appeared in this country and abroad as a soloist and chamber musician. He served as orchestral pianist for the Baltimore Symphony for over ten many years. Dr. Conway’s choral accomplishments include working closely with some of the greatest conductors of the 20th Century including Robert Shaw, Sir Nevelle Mariner, and Donald Neuen.  He also holds degrees in both Accounting and Business Management.

The Larks chorus, a project of the Junior League of Baltimore, brings the gift of song to the elderly, the disabled, people in need, and the community at large. We joyfully share our music with more than a thousand people each year. Directed by Leo Wanenchak, The Larks perform an eclectic mix of music, including American oldies, foreign folk songs, classical arrangements and sacred pieces.

This Christmas, Baltimore Choral Arts presents Christmas with Kids virutally! Watch as the ever-lovable Pepito the Clown and Tilly are swept away on an imaginative adventure as they attempt to help Santa prepare for Christmas. This children’s show is perfect for the young and young-at-heart!
