100% Volunteer Supported

We depend on the generosity of individuals volunteering a little bit of their time to make a huge difference in the community. Our efforts are 100% volunteer supported and our growth has only occurred because of the hundreds of “elves” that donate money and dedicate their time to wrapping gifts, loading boxes of food, cooking turkeys and making deliveries Christmas Eve morning. Login to sign up to volunteer. Check here for details if you have already signed up to volunteer and need more information.

Wrapping Gifts

Each family we adopt is given age-appropriate gifts for each child as well as games to be enjoyed by the entire family and an art set. With more than 4,500 gifts to wrap, we need your help to get it all done. Wrapping takes place over the course of one weekend in mid-December with four shifts. Sign up for one shift and be sure to let us know how many helpers you will have.

This is a great way to get the whole family involved in the spirit of giving. We have the gifts, wrapping paper, bows, tape and tags. We ask that you please bring your own scissors.

Cooking Turkeys

What holiday meal is complete without a turkey? An essential part of our giving is to make sure every family is able to enjoy what's provided without any hassle or need to have the means of preparing a turkey for the family. We partner with many restaurants and catering companies in the area to get 15,000 pounds properly roasted and packaged for delivery. If you're interested in cooking turkeys for us, let us know. We provide everything needed but the oven!

This is a great way to help behind the scenes and on your own time.

Delivering to Families

We need extra sleighs to make deliveries to 1,000 families. You will have help loading your car with food and gifts for 3-4 families; each driver should have one to two helpers. Plan to have access to a GPS or Smartphone, addressed and instructions for deliveries will be provided. Deliveries are in close proximity to each other. We estimate that you should be able to complete your deliveries within two hours.

This is a great experience for the entire family, especially children.

In addition to the main volunteer efforts listed above, we are always in search of elves to help us out behind the scenes - mainly in the warehouse packing boxes of food, sorting and distributing gifts, and other administrative tasks. This takes place throughout the month of December. If you are interested in volunteering to help us in the warehouse for multiple days, please email us  at santa@santashelpersanonymous.org or call us  at 410-771-0999.

Ho Ho Ho, Inc. d/b/a Santa's Helpers Anonymous is a 501(c)3 non profit that provides food, age appropriate gifts, and holiday support to 1,000 needy working families in the Baltimore metropolitan community.
